Autism Friendly Performance: Sat 7 Apr 2pm
This performance is aimed at families with children with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Performances are adapted in a variety of ways to reduce anxiety and ensure a safe, enjoyable theatre visit. Bookers will be sent a social story, be invited to attend a familiarisation meeting in the theatre and there will be a designated ‘chill-out’ area for use during the performance.
Audio-Described Performance: Sat 14 Apr 2pm
Audio description is a live commentary during the performance, describing visual aspects of the production for visually impaired audience members. An advance introduction CD and touch tour of the set, costumes and props are provided for free.
Captioned Performance: Sun 15 Apr 5pm
Captioning converts the spoken word into text that provides people with hearing loss with access to live performance. In captioning, the words appear on a screen at the same time as they are sung or spoken.
