YOUTH THEATRE
The Unicorn’s Youth Theatre is for young people aged 10-16 who live or go to school in Southwark or Tower Hamlets. The groups meet at the Unicorn every week and during the school holidays to create new theatre, develop skills and explore new ideas.
If you're interested in finding out more about theatre, have a sense of adventure and enthusiasm then get in touch! No previous drama experience is necessary.
YOUNG COMPANY
The Young Company is for 16 -19 year olds who live or go to school/college in Southwark or Tower Hamlets. The group meets weekly at the theatre and works with a professional director to explore and experiment with making theatre. Working as part of a company, you will have the opportunity to try out all the different areas of creating theatre – performing, directing, designing, play-writing etc. - whilst being supported by professional theatre makers. We want to give you space to try out ideas and see what happens.
You do not need any previous drama/theatre experience, just a willingness to work as part of a group and an enthusiasm to learn new things.
